Musafir.com is the UAE's first premium-experience travel website. The venture was founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, Sachin Gadoya and Albert Dias in August 2007, and was inaugurated by Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani in April 2009.
The website offers flights on over 270 airlines, rooms in over 46,000 properties around the world and much more. The website is incorporated under Universal Travels & Tourism LLC – an IATA accredited travel agency which was founded by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani and Sachin Gadoya in 2005.
The word musafir (pronounced moo-saa-fir) means “traveller” in Arabic and Hindi. The company has specialized in travel solutions for small-to-medium enterprises and academic groups since 2009, and has established a reputation for delivering exceptional quality. Its flagship product – Musafir Business – helped over 1,600 companies in 2011 alone to manage their travel online and gain better control over their travel spend.
